- What counts as an API call?
- Each HTTP request to a REST endpoint proxied through SOAPless counts as one API call, regardless of the underlying SOAP operation complexity or response size.
- Can I change my plan at any time?
- Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle.
- What happens if I exceed my monthly call limit?
- On the Free plan, requests are rejected with HTTP 429 once you hit the limit. On paid plans (Starter and Pro), additional calls beyond your monthly limit are billed at $0.01 per call as overage. You can monitor your usage from the dashboard.
- Do you support WSDL 2.0 and MTOM?
- SOAPless currently supports WSDL 1.1 with SOAP 1.1 and 1.2. WSDL 2.0 and MTOM support is on the roadmap and planned for a future release.
- Is my WSDL data stored?
- SOAPless stores a cached copy of your WSDL schema to power request validation and documentation generation. Your SOAP service credentials are never stored; they are forwarded per-request over TLS.
- Do you offer annual billing?
- Yes! Annual billing is available for Starter and Pro plans with a 20% discount. You can choose monthly or annual billing during checkout.
- What authentication methods are supported?
- SOAPless supports API key authentication via the X-Api-Key header. Downstream SOAP authentication (WS-Security, Basic Auth) is configured per-service.
- Is there a free trial for paid plans?
- The Free tier is available indefinitely with no credit card required. All features are the same across plans — the difference is usage limits. Start with Free and upgrade when you need more capacity.
